  • The card reader connects to the cash register device via RS232 or USB cable.
  • The cashier application calls the DualConnector function.
  • DualConnector sends a transaction request to IPPOS.
  • Customer have the contact card read at IPPOS.
  • IPPOS uses the cash register network to connect to the bank and perform card transactions.
